THE HAPPY ISLANDS

    Canary Islands are like paradise with a wonderful climate. These islands have got their name from dogs called “CANES” . These islands are present northwest to the African continent and are considered as (Spanish archipelago) which come under European Union. There are 7 larger islands (Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Tenerife, La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro) and few other islands which are small in size. The landscape of each island is every much different from other islands which is amazing. These islands have splendid beaches with fine sand, walking on the seashore is a great pleasure. These islands have a cool and romantic atmosphere which attracts tourists a lot and especially couples who intend to spend some romantic days away from their routine life.

These Islands have become important for navigation to different continents like Africa, Europe and Asia due to their geographical location. To reach the Canary Islands airways is the best way and there are several airlines like Spain’s National Airways which carry you to the major islands like Tenerife and Gran Canaria. The Canary Islands have got some luxurious hotels offering very good accommodation and other services at offer able prices and the bookings are always open, as the tourists visit the islands through out the year. The most famous of all which attracts the visitors to Canary Islands is Mount Teide on Tenerife which is world’s third largest volcano and has the highest peak in Spain. If you think you are just going to watch it standing far away from it, then think again as there is a cable car service which will carry you to the peak of the mountain which is the highest point in Spain. Reaching the mountain passing through the clouds is truly a thrilling and wonderful experience. The towns and streets have unique look and feel and which are a must watch.
