Isn’t the name Dead Sea sounding very creepy? It is called so because NOTHING lives in it. The Dead Sea is located in the Jordan Rift Valley. It is 422 meters below sea level; its shores are the lowest point on the surface of the earth. It is one among the most saltiest waters around the world, almost six times saltier than the oceans. Due to this reason it prevents many aquatic organisms such as fish and aquatic plants from living in it.
The climate at the Dead Sea is sunny throughout the year. The temperature in summer ranges between 32 - 39 ˚C and the temperature in winter ranges between 20 - 23 ˚C. Many animal species and hundreds of bird species are found living in the mountains surrounding the Dead Sea. Tourists can see Foxes, Jackals, Hares, Camels, Ibex and even Leopards.
Dead Sea is considered the world’s richest source of natural salts. The minerals found here are rich in concentration and possess the properties that help in relieving pains caused due to headache, foot-ache, arthritis, rheumatism and also cure skin ailments such as Acne, Eczema, and Psoriasis. This water contains nearly 35 different types of minerals namely Potassium, Magnesium, Calcium, Bromine, Iodine and several others which are used in making a variety of products for medicine, agriculture, beauty and many more.
The Dead Sea is considered one of the natural and most beautiful landscapes around the world. The architecture and interior design of the hotel is world class and attracts the tourists very much. There are 28 floors holding around 200 bed-room suites. You can have a breath taking view of the sea coast from the suite and also awesome beach. With 24 hour service and some always close by to serve you can feel the Royal treatment and hospitality of the hotel staff. There is separate dining for every suite and a big plasma T.V for entertainment. There are different suites like club; Deluxe and Royal which have there unique features. There are around six restaurants among which Al Mahara present on the top floor of the hotel is considered to be the best and beautifully crafted one. Different cuisines like European, Mediterranean and seafood’s are served in the restaurants. There is a helipad present on the top of the hotel for VVIP’s and other important personal. There are Rolls-Royce cars which will pickup you from the airport. Most beautiful of all is the view given by the hotel during sunset and sunrise, and also as it is on an island you almost feel like you are sailing in a boat that is a world class hotel. There are lot of criticisms and appraisals about its construction and the investment made in it, but Burj-Al-Arab is unique of its own in style and design and is truly a monument to remember.

Which waterfall do you think is crazy and big?? Well, let me tell you the IGUAZU FALLS of Iguazu River located on the border of Brazil and Argentina is world’s most crazy and humongous water fall ever seen. Why would anyone call it crazy?? Imagine a waterfall consisting of 275 falls stretching along 2.7 kilometres (1.7 miles), is it not a crazy waterfall.
Recently these falls were shortlisted for New 7Wonders of World (2009). It is one of the famous tourist attractions and of course is a wonderful treat to watch. These falls are much bigger than Niagara Falls and are ranked among world’s top 3 water falls. The river feeds thousands of acres of land for cultivation.
There is a story behind the formation of falls that there was a god ruling the world in a serpent shape and he fell in love with a tribal girl called Naipi. Her father promised the god to give her but she fell in love with another tribal named Taroba and he stole the Naipi and escaped down the Iguazu river, the god felt angry and slashed the water with his serpent body and the river was divided which became falls and the lovers were deluged with water.
Well that was a sad ending to those lovers and what ever the story might be when we see the present world history, the Europeans were the first to discover these falls and was a Spanish named (Conquistador Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca) in Spanish language visited in 1541. The Argentine side of the falls was named after him. The heights of the falls were ranging between (210ft-269ft). The most attractive of all the falls in Devil’s Throat which is U-shaped and marks the border of both the countries (Brazil and Argentina). The falls can be reached from both places Foz do Iguacu in the Brazilian state of Parana and Puerto Iguazu in the Argentine Province of Misiones. There are Iguazu National Parks on both Brazilian and argentine sides which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. There is lot of green vegetation around the falls and forms a rain forest with wide range of species surviving. These falls are compared to Victoria Falls which divides Zambia and Zimbabwe in South Africa. As this is a tourist attraction many tourists visit and enjoy the adventure sports like boating and rock climbing too which surely create an amazing experience.

Means flower in Spanish Florida. The city is a port of many marine animals, reptiles, mammals, birds, and much more. It is their home, especially during winter.

There are 7 larger islands (Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Tenerife, La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro) and few other islands which are small in size.
